1987 Honda Accord LX. Same family since purchased new. Runs excellent, I took it on a 3 hour trip over Labor Day weekend and then 3 hours home with zero issues. I’d drive this car across country and back without a blink.
47,800 ORIGINAL miles.
In the last 18 months these items have been replaced:
-new carburetor
-Brakes and calipers
-Shocks/ struts
-Radiator, hoses, and thermostat. Engine was flushed.
-Water pump
-Head gaskets
-Battery
-Gas tank, fuel pump, lines, and float
-Air and fuel filters including cabin air replaced
-Tires.
-Windshield wipers (last weekend)
-Completely new A/C system
ALL WORK COMPLETED BY CERTIFIED MECHANICS, not by me or some blow Joe.
Things it needs:
-Cruise control has a loose conection. It’ll turn on but immediately goes off when you hit a bump.
-needs 4 new speakers. There’s 2 in the front doors and 2 in the rear dash.
-power antenna works but is bent so it won’t retract. There’s OEM antennas on eBay for $99
-there are a couple of very small rust areas that are common on these bodies. Nothing significant. NO RUST UNDERNEATH.
Clear green Oklahoma title in my name.
