Vehicle Details
Make all your Radwood fantasies come true with this absolute time capsule survivor condition 3rd Gen Honda Prelude finished in the highly desirable yet relatively uncommon and VERY 80s . exterior (a highly unusual color that seems to change just from the light hitting it) over jet black cloth interior. Showing only 84k miles with well documented ALL SOUTH TEXAS . mileage on Carfax.
We obtained this Prelude via its single owner who purchased the car new in 1989 and has taken wonderful care of, and heavily maintained the car ever since. Seriously, take a look at the last page of the Carfax history attached in the photos and the amount of preventive maintenance just performed in the last year is extensive and includes timing belt, drive belts, coolant, and much more. Even at its age the pavement under this car stays dry even after days of sitting.
Additionally, the car’s report history shows no evidence of previous accidents or other adverse events. As is common with this shade of Barbados yellow, this car did receive a sympathetic repaint of its yellow finish some years ago, yet is otherwise, a HIGHLY original unmolested example and we have literally done nothing to this car but a light hand-wash and vacuum of the interior. What you see is pretty much how we got it and what you’ll get.
While still a 40 year old car, car is in Excellent condition both cosmetic and mechanical overall, never smoked in, no pet odors or other stories. There are some very light hail spots on the top surfaces but nothing a good PDR tech can’t handle if you’re going for a real concourse type restoration. I could not even get these to appear in photographs, but in full disclosure they are there. Power antenna can be noisy when going up and down but does function. Power sunroof, AC and heat work! Purrs smoothly and is a total blast to drive with the highly sought after . gearbox.
As mentioned above, we have no real plans to do much of anything to rhis really nice survivor, and priced it fairly aggressively as a result. Note that the last low mileage (37k) Barbados Yellow example to sell at an auction venue brought over 27000.00 and was also a full respray car. A 103k mile example is currently being offered at a whopping 24k. This one and those cars are desirable manuals, but even automatics are bringing good money these days.
Includes two keys, original owner’s manual, radio protective case etc… Please contact for more details or to schedule a time to see this wonderful car.
