I am very reluctantly selling my 1990 Crx Si. It’s a financial decision I have to make at this time but I know it cost me way more than $20,000 to replicate this build. I bought this car last year and I am absolutely in love with it. I bought it from Brownsville Texas and I spent lots of money flying, buying and transporting back to New York. The gentleman I bought it from was not a kid. He actually became a grandfather shortly after I purchased it from him. He built it himself. He bought it from his nephew who had a b16 turbo set up in it and meticulously built the car to what it is today. My only contributions were removing the bucket seats and finding an original set of 1990 SI seats. I also replaced the windshield with a brand new one. I ordered the original Honda molding from Japan. The car had tinted windows, but I removed them. I have driven this car less than 10 times in the year that I own it it stays Garage kept and babied.

I like to be transparent I bought this car and overlooked many of these things but here they are
The good
- Car is put together with love and the motor and transmission run super strong and smooth.
- sunroof works both ways which is rare.( I had a few si’s in the early 2000’s and I never had one that opened and closed)
-tires and breaks are in great shape
-car is a head turner
-many hard to get euro and jdm parts
- If ever parted out I think this car can make really good money
The bad
- car has been resprayed by previous owner and has paint chips and random flaws. It is 31 years old but I want to mention it.
- There is a cut out in the hood from when the previous owner had a B16 turbo set up in it.(closed with a nice peice of carbon fiber)
- no heat or AC
- passenger power window goes a little slow and it did get stuck on me once, but it is currently working.
-speedometer calibration is off but it does include the ktuned wire to program it.
- occasionally it will throw a check engine light and it’ll go away on its own, but it has zero effect on the car drives. The code is for the speed sensor on the six speed transmission I haven’t tried to figure it out because it doesn’t bother me.
- Like all e85 cars it’s initial cold start takes a little extra cranking but once it runs for 5 seconds it will fire up immediately when turned off and on again.
