I have owned the Honda CRX for a while. I hate to see it go but, it is time for someone else to enjoy it. I had the intention of restoring it to like new condition, but I realize I don’t have the time or the desire anymore. Car is in great condition for being a +25 year old import classic.
This car is a driver, fun little gas saver to cruise on the highway & curvy roads. I have kept up on maintenance and replacements parts. Most of this car is in original condition except for noted changes. A CD player with remote. Factory sunroof. *The CRX sits on, 15 inch axia Camille gotti 5 spoke wheels. Tires are good & have a lot of tread on them. *A stainless steel muffler has been added for long life. The stock 1.5 has been replaced to the upgraded Si model *1.6 long block (D16), along with still using the stock Dual-Point Fuel Injection (DPFI) intake manifold system. While this was installed, I had it gone through with replacements such as head & intake top end gaskets, new timing belt, water pump & motor mount. So there is No oil or fluid usage. This now has 130 K on 1.6. It is so clean I would eat off of it. Less than 200 miles, the battery, alternator & main relay have also been replaced. The ac will work if charged, but seems to need it seasonal. There is seat covers currently on. The edge of driver’s seat is worn from getting in & out of car. Passenger side is just fine. Car is in better than good condition for being a +25 year old import classic. The windshield has a crack across the lower bottom, but not in drivers view. There is factory clear coat pealing around the sun roof & paint chips on front of the hood. Which I was going to paint the hood & roof black or carbon fiber like the muscle cars, but never got to it. A few small little paint bubbles are on lip of rear quarter panels. I described this the best I could .Clean & clear title. Now is your chance to possibly own this import classic. It came with a 90 day full refund. which I put it into this car when it had 120,xxx miles on the odometer - the car currently has 160,450 mile on it so I have put an additional 40,000 on the engine for a total of 130,xxx on this engine. Before I had the engine installed the timing belt was changed and the water pump was replaced. As you can see in the pictures the body is in great condition for a car that is over 25 years old. Very few CRXs have as little body rust as this one. The inside of the car is also in good condition, but not perfect. The car currently has 160,450 miles and counting on it. Other than that it has been very reliable. I recommend that you come see the car in person before you bid.
