1972 Honda Other an600 Additional Info:

My wife and I have decided it is time to let my little sedan go. I did a fairly thorough body restoration about 10 years ago, and we would drive it almost every weekend to see a movie in town.
5 years ago everything changed when my daughter was born, and the car has barely seen the road. Time for someone else to enjoy.
There are some videos and a picture walk through on YouTube of the restoration if you just search for Honda 600 sedan you should find them.
The car was totally dismantled, repaired, primed, painted, soundproofed with dynamat products to make it as nice a driver as I could.I used new and as much nos parts I could find during the restore: rechromed bumpers, nos grill, nos grill emblem, new headlights, nos rotors, new brake pads, new brake hoses, rebuilt calipers, sleeved master cylinder, new rack bushings, wipers, all weatherstrip either nos or reproduction, reproduce carpet, door panels on the car still had the plastic on them when I got it, original seats recovered (front seats not installed) leather Toyota celica seats installed. Nos speedometer, nos antenna, nos tail lights, new headliner. I am forgetting a lot here!
The celica seats were a much better fit for me (6'3" 270lb) and make the car a much more comfortable ride. The original front seats were recovered and are wrapped up in plastic bags (included). I think the steering wheel is MOMO and the adapter I had imported from Japan. I do have the original somewhat cracked leather wrapped steering wheel also included. Kenwood CD player and speakers, but I have the original am radio and speaker included. Older style seat belts installed to accommodate the larger seats, but I have the original belts included.
I have a new piston and ring kit and engine gasket set I will throw in with it if you decide to go through the engine. The engine was tuned up when I got it and was running fine so I did not go into it any deeper than a new timing chain It does have some oil seeps, but nothing awful.
I have tried to picture the flaws. Trunk has a paint chip and a bubble, passenger door bottom has a bubble. The bubbles formed within a week of painting and have not grown. There are other small flaws in the paint but overall it looks really good. I get compliments on the car everywhere we go, some people even asked if it was new when they saw it. I have a bare unrestored passenger door and trunk included if you desire to paint them and swap them out. I had an issue with the brake booster and installed a nos diaphragm. Also I had a lr wheel cylinder leak, it has also been revealed.
The car runs and drives great, whoever gets it should really enjoy it.
