1991 Honda CRX SI Additional Info:
After two years of searching I found this 1991 CRX SI in California and drove it 650 miles to Arizona. Its the last year of the CRX SI model with a factory sunroof, 4 wheel disc brakes, and rear wiper. The sunroof works like new. Its a clean tittle car which is really difficult to find. There are no accidents on the Autocheck report. The previous owner is in his 40's and had the car for 10 years. I'm also in my 40's and never drove the car hard. The motor is the original 1.6 liter D16A6 with the factory 5 speed. Starts up first crank and runs strong. Handles like a go cart. The Transmission does not grind or pop out of gear. The clutch is tight. Has all the original AC components except the condenser fan. The compressor engages but does not blow cold. The previous owner removed the condenser fan when the Mishimoto aluminum radiator was installed. Not sure why. The AC controls work perfect and is not cracked or repaired. Replacement units in this condition sell for up to $600. It runs cool even sitting in heavy traffic on 100 degree days. In the 9 months that I've owned it, I rebuilt the entire suspension (list of components below). I sourced OEM components whenever available. The rear swaybar is intact. I also had the integrated control unit repaired so the intermittent wipers, seatbelt, key and door buzzers work. I bought it with the intention of keeping it forever but life has other plans. So regrettably I'm listing it for sale and hoping it goes to somebody that appreciates it as much I do. My "buy it now" price is what I have invested into the car minus any labor. Currently 140k on the odometer which will go up slightly as I still try to drive it whenever possible. I will help coordinate with shipper but buyer must arrange pick up.
I bought the car with the following modifications:

- New Honda trailing arm bushings
- New spindle nuts and caps on all 4

I have receipts for the suspension components. Sourcing the best I could find not the least expensive (Honda, SKF, Timken, Beck & Arnley-many times the supplier for OEM) The car also has its original owners manual in the glovebox. I hold a clean and clear box "A" Arizona tittle for the vehicle. Please understand that the car is almost 30 years old. Although I consider it's in great overall condition for its age, it does shows signs of wear typical for a CRX. There are dings and the paint is not in perfect shape. There is a small dent on the front of the hood. Looks like something was kicked up on the California freeway. There is also a tear on drivers seat which I covered with black tape to prevent further damage. Plus a tear on the rear of the door panels from the seat belts. The car drives straight, suspension is quiet, tight, and takes corners like its on rails. The engine pulls strong and keeps up with highway traffic no problem. Theres no rust in the quarter panels, underneath, etc, aside from some small spots showing on the sunroof which is typical for CRX's. The car spent its entire life inland in California until I brought it home to the desert. Thanks for looking.
