1985 HONDA CRX SI

1985 Honda CRX SI Additional Info:

This is a 1985 CRX SI that I acquired as a parts car to use for my autocross car. It had everything I needed to restore the Autocross car. However, decided to leave the autocross car as a race car, ince it has history and has been fairly successful locally.
I was going to break for parts keep some and sell some but this CRX si too solid for that. For someone looking for a First Gen CRX SI Project this is a good start.
It is too nice to junk.

The CRX wasnt running when it came home. I replaced the battery and fuel pump. Put in a new gas filter. Cleaned grounds. Resoldered the main relay. Jiggled the ignition when I turned it and it started up and ran. Still needs the ignition pigtail replaced.
The brakes look recent. Radiator had a leak but i fixed it. It leaked a little oild at the valve cover but running it swelled up gaskets and that stopped. Unknown when cam belt was done.
Body is reasonable It does have surface rust at the wheel arches, ut they ARE NOT ROACHED. The spare well needs a little work; a couple patches Probably the worst is at the heel of the floor pans were the sunroof leaked. However it is not horrible. This car does not have a rotten unibody nor need floor pans. Its an afternoon of welding and some flat steel if you have the tools. Carpets have been vacuumed but need a shampoo.
Front plastic was bad but I sourced a decent set of. I did epoxy some cracks but everything fits and is in decent order.
I have taken the seats, ear wiper and original 13" factory SI rims. It has dragstars and Hoosiers.I also have an exhaust that goes with it. No seats. It is also missing rear wiper, ear spoiler. Front marker lights are cracked. Sunroof motor runs but sunroof doesn't open. No spare parts; the stuff in the hatch go with it and are interior. Front windshield cracked and I marked that with an X.
Title is clear.
Basically it runs is mostly complete and is quite fixable or it can be your parts car. Its cheap because Id like to find it a new home. I havent driven the car because it came right into the garage as an inop and then we had a blizzard, ut I runs, as brakes and goes through gears so it should drive.
The pictures aren't great because I couldn't get a good angle and it was dark out so opening the garage didn't help. There are a few engine shots before I installed front clip.
