1940 GMC Other AC303 Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1940 GMC AC303 1 1/2 ton firetruck. 3100 original miles. Runs and drives. 248 cid 6 cylinder. Minimal rust. 4 speed. True barn find. Excellent patina. I have cleaned out the carb and brake master cylinder and put new parts in both. New tires on front. I drive it around town and in parades but needs the usual attention of a 75 year old vehicle before you head out on the open road. This is a nice machine that I would like to see go to a person who can appreciate it and give it a good home. I prefer not to see it holding up a sign alongside the highway somewhere, it is worth much more than that. I don't want to part with it but I have a daughter with cancer and am losing my job soon so it is time to move on. I have owned it for about a year and have really enjoyed it. I have a clear title. I will help load this with a shipper that YOU arrange and YOU pay for as long as I have proper notification. I will NOT allow it to be loaded it until your funds have ABSOLUTELY cleared the bank. There is NOT a warranty with this vehicle. 6 volt system, foot starter, no power steering or power brakes, and un-synchronized transmission. If you don't know what that means you might want to think twice, this isn't a vehicle for you. The tank does not hold water and the pump is not operable. The siren works and I have the emergency flashing red light to go with it (have to remove it to get it in the garage). Gauges work. Any questions feel free to text to 701.567.3344

If you are a serious bidder feel free to text or call me. I will give you as much information as I can. Please don't assume anything. I have nothing to hide but want to make sure we are both on the same level.
Thanks,
