1941 GMC 1/2 ton pickup Additional Info:
This is a 41 GMC 1/2 ton pickup. Its in solid condition. Not rusty or rotten. There is some rust in the floor board panel. And there's rust on the front of the cowl below where the fender bolts on. Very minimal, easy fix. Cab corners are good. Rockers are good. Doors have a little rust in the bottom of them. The door latches and window regulators work nice and smooth. It has nice running boards. Has dents in all fenders. They are solid and repairable but I have 4 more fenders, 2 front and 2 rear, that go with it that are in better condition. There is no grille or front bumper. It has a very nice 235 Chev engine with a new valve job, new water pump, new fuel pump, new tune up (plugs, wires, points, etc.). It runs well. Radiator is good. It doesn't have brakes. The master cylinder needs to be replaced. Its a 3 speed floor shift trans that works fine. I replaced the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate with some good used ones. Has a nice looking tail gate. The bedsides are solid. Although there have been some holes cut in them at some time. Easily fixed. It has all the glass except the rear glass. The right front window pane of the windshield is delaminated (as seen in picture). There is no seat. There are 2 gas tanks. The orange one in the bed looks like it has been cleaned but never installed. There's no wiring to speak of in it. I just hot wire it to start it. The gauge cluster is there. The speedometer is gone out of the gauge cluster. The hood hinge is broken down the middle and needs to be riveted back together. I have put an internal regulated alternator on it that would need to be wired up. Overall its a very solid project. I have driven it up and down my driveway although no brakes. There is no exhaust on it also. Its a project. Its very solid and good place to start. If you win the bid it would need to be paid for in full at the end of the auction. Its a no reserve auction. Hopefully the pictures will tell you everything you need to know. Let me know if you need more or have questions. Contact me through ebay. I have a clear Oregon title for it. Its old and used and sold as is with no warranty. Its up to the buyer to pay for and arrange transportation (ie: pick up or arrange shipping). It does run and move under its own power but no brakes if you decide to load it on a trailer so you'ld need a winch either on the transport truck or on the trailer. It could stay here 14 days if it needs to but please arrange that before purchase. If it needs to stay longer, I would charge $25.00 per day.
