1989 GMC Sierra K1500 Short Bed — 4WD Classic Pickup

This 1989 GMC Sierra K1500 is a true classic — and a great find, since it's the highly sought-after standard cab, short bed combination that's getting harder to come by these days. It's got a V8 engine, manual transmission, and bench seating for three, plus 4WD capability. With 157,718 miles on the odometer, this truck offers the rugged, stylish look that vintage GMC fans love.

Purchased as a project truck, several key upgrades have already been done for you:

  • New gas tank
  • New driver-side floor
  • New tires
  • Reupholstered bench seat
  • New exhaust pipe, dual mufflers, and exhaust tip
  • Lined cab below windows and floor with sound dampening material
  • New rubberized floor cover and mats

The truck runs well, much quieter due to dual mufflers and sound dampening insulation and has been driven regularly for fun. It hasn't been out in the last few months, so the battery is a bit weak — it's currently hooked up to a battery tender (you may notice the extension cord in some photos for this reason).

As with any 36-year-old truck, there's some small rust holes in common spots — the rocker panel and the bottom corner of the cab. Everything else is being sold as-is, whether you want to drive it as a fun project as-is or continue fixing it up.

This is a great opportunity to get your hands on a desirable short bed/standard cab setup — solid foundation to restore or enjoy as a driver. Reach out with any questions!

The buyer is responsible for shipping.

Also: the white cab bed you see in the pictures comes with the truck if you want it.
