1987 4X4 Safari Camper Van
This is a real, go anywhere, sleeper, 4X4 Van. Its an incredible off-road machine with four wheel drive, a two speed transfer case, and locking differentials front and back. It is configured with a very comfortable bed in back and room for full camping gear and cargo underneath. The body is straight with original paint that has been well pin striped and scratched from tight Colorado trails and the sun. The transmission is automatic with a nice low end for low range tracks. It has aggressive B F Goodrich 31 X 9.50 -15 A/T tires that are like new. I think there is room for taller tires if you want. The locking hubs are ¼ turn manual.
This is a very capable van. I’ve been over Black Bear Pass with it and many even harder trails. I think this is the only mini van that ever went over Black Bear Pass.
