Vehicle Details

Selling a 1972 K10 (4x4) GMC Suburban with SBC 350, Turbo—Hydramatic 400, NP205 transfer. Has power steering and upgraded front disc brakes. As you can see from the Service Parts Indicator (SPI) on the glove box this came with a lot of trim and comfort upgrades. Has all 3 bench seats, 1 has been re-covered. AC front and rear unit in place although not currently working. Many of the AC parts have been replaced in the engine but there is a leak present. All gauges and lights work, fuel gauge needs a new 90ohm resistor located on the back of the gauge. Tested the sending unit and gauge itself and both sweep full/zero indicating faulty resistor. I was going to upgrade to digital so I just pay attention to the fuel I put in it.

Takes about 4-5 pumps of the throttle if it’s been sitting for a day, other wise she starts at first crank. Has edelbrock 1406 with electronic throttle control. Front disc and rear drum brakes work as they should, transmission up/down shifts with no weird clunks or noises. Power steering work properly with no whining whatsoever.

Sale comes with many spare parts (all pictured) to include; (5) steel wheels, all (3) doors that are in better condition than the rotted original ones. Inner fenders, bright work, etc. Also comes with both repair manuals and the box of tail light lenses, new power steering pump, windshield and various rubber all come with it. The previous owner had this for many years and has another suburban he had restored. I previously had a 72 K10 suburban I restored and LS swapped so any questions please send them my way. This will need rust repair as can you can see but all sheet metal are readily available from various venders or forums.

I recently acquired the suburban, had it transported to my house, and the day I titled and registered for 3 YEARS!! (Virginia to Virginia same day) I was told that I would be relocating sooner than later for work so here we are…

Selling for what I have into it. I have some parts not pictured that are making their way from JEGS and LMC truck; front (AC) and rear blower motor, cables for fan/heater control - all work but very stiff and the control unit is nice and I’d hate to break the lever. Also have a new parking brake knob as the original is stripped and comes off, also ordered a spring kit so the PB lever will return other wise you have to push it back. Parking brake engages and holds well.

Previous owner stated this Suburban never gave him issues mechanically and I believe it. I’ve been driving it for the past week and have put on about 70 miles and it’s a solid driver with good bones. Please send any questions you may have (619) two zero zero 06 three seven.

**I have (2) Videos of startup and a short drive that I can’t upload, text number above and I can send.

**Not actual mileage, they are unknown

**Vehicle is being sold as-is with NO warranty.
