1984 GMC Sierra 2500 Additional Info:

1984 GMC Sierra K2500 (3/4ton) 4WD with Camper

This sale is for both truck and camper because, well, look at them together; its like they were matched at birth! Plus I have no use for the camper without the truck and the truck is a project I can't complete. Clear Clean Title in hand.

My loss is your gain!

The odometer shows 57,007 miles and the truck spent its earlier life on a golf course . I don’t know if the mileage is accurate, but given it’s early life as a golf course truck and since I’ve only put about 20K miles on it, it’s possible.

The brake master cylinder, steering box, ball joints, starter and wiper motor were replaced less than 10,000 miles ago. The engine was replaced with a new crated GMC 350 engine in 2018. It’s got less than 5,000 miles on it, runs great (especially after warmup). It has a rebuilt Rochester 4bbl Quadrajet carb on it and a new exhaust system. I have the catalytic converter, but it needs a welder to do a little adapting as I couldn't find an adaptor that worked. The carb could probably use a choke adjustment for better warm-ups. Tires are like new.The truck has a few Chevy parts on it like the grill and hubcaps and the seats are velour replacement. Mice did get in the cab and I think the carpet probably needs a good cleaning.

While mechanically the truck is in great shape it does need some welding and body TLC, mainly:

Gas tank leaks,

Body mounts need welding or replacement,

Rocker panel rotted and the driver’s side floor and cab corner need repair

Also needs the windshield replaced, but it's one of the cheapest and easiest to do.

Unfortunately, I don’t have body or welding skills or an indoor workshop, so after all I’ve done on it, it’s now beyond my ability to repair.

The camper sleeps four and is in pretty good shape for its age. It had some leaks that we repaired and has since stayed dry and it's completely rodent free! The sink and demand pump with holding tank, stove and oven work great but the refrigerator does not work. It has a self contained porta-potty in a “bathroom”. The camper’s jacks still work well enough to lift it, but two of them leak a bit and I've never figured out how to fix them.

The wife and I loved this camper and truck at music festivals where she goes right into the car camping area instead of buying an RV site. We used to turn a lot of heads!

Great project truck and camper for the right person. Thanks for looking!!

Note: I have been using a gas can on the passenger seat to supply fuel through a hose to move it in the yard because the fuel tank leaks. This is for local pick-up only. We can run it here, but I suggest it gets towed or flat-bedded for safety.
