Here’s a handsome mild custom 1981 GMC Caballero Diablo now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. Starting with a clean Texas truck, the owner completed a thorough restoration/build in 2012. Tasteful custom details are found throughout the vehicle starting with shaved door handles with electric openers, a narrowed and recessed front bumper and custom grille for a super clean look, shaved tailgate and tail lights, and a custom steel roll pan. 2-inch dropped spindles provide the desired stance. It’s all covered in a beautiful application of year 2000 GM Bright Silver Metallic paint. A full custom interior features beautiful black leather seats and black carpeting, with body-color dash and center console. The custom dash has a full set of TPI-tech whiteface gauges. It’s well equipped for comfort with air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, and tilt steering column. A Sony stereo unit is mounted in the center stack and you’ll also find hidden controls for delay wipers. There’s plenty of go to accompany the show. Under the hood is a 1994 5.7L Z28 LT1 fuel injected V8 engine with performance cam, cold air intake, and ceramic coated Hedman Hedders. The exhaust is routed through 2½ stainless steel pipes to Flowmaster mufflers for a powerful tone. A 1994 Z28 4L60E automatic transmits the torque to the original 3.73 rear. Build receipts and restoration photos are included plus a high quality car cover. Please be sure to see the detailed photos at
