PLEASE READ THIS FOR IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS! This 1990 GMC SLX 1500 C1500 stepside, 2 wheel drive truck is solid without any sign of rust or previous rust repair; it spent its life in northern Wisconsin but was never driven in the winter, which is reflected not only by the lack of rust, but also the relatively low mileage. Since I've owned it, I had a new tinted, sliding back window installed, new B. F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires with fat 255/70/15s in back and 225/70/15s up front on classic Centerline aluminum wheels, and new Access brand tonneau cover. New Gibson dual exhaust system professionally installed - sounds awesome! Previous owner installed a lowering kit, so it rides right! New front brakes this summer, including new calipers. This truck runs and drives great; everything works - power windows, tilt wheel, power locks, new Sony stereo with 4 speakers. The truck sustained damage when it was brand new and before it was registered in New York, over 30 years ago. I believe because the damage was done before it was ever titled, it never was recorded as a branded or "salvage" title, and the Minnesota title I have in my possession IS CLEAR AND FREE OF LIENS AND BRANDING - IT DOES NOT STATE "SALVAGE TITLE" ANYWHERE ON THE TITLE. The previous owner told me that when he bought the truck it had been professionally repaired. The AutoCheck report shows an odometer problem, but I believe that was a clerical error 30 years ago, and in any case, it doesn't really have any bearing on the condition of this truck today. It is obvious when you see and drive this truck that it is a "survivor" that has been well cared for over the years. Clean underneath, no real leaks, maybe a small drip of oil after sitting a week or two. Goes down the road straight and smooth. This truck did not come with air conditioning. It's a sharp-looking truck but the paint isn't perfect; over the years it's had a couple small fender-benders, a deer ran into the cab and box side, but they were minor accidents. That said, it looks great but isn't perfect, as you can see it's had some touch-up paint and there's some cracking in places of the fiberglass fenders (shown in pics). Message me with any questions! Check out my 100% true positive feedback built since 1999 and buy with confidence! Located an hour north of Duluth, Minnesota in Two Harbors. Can help coordinate shipping with buyer, and can deliver to Duluth, MN for shipping or pickup. PLEASE NOTE: eBay cancelled my first auction because I indicated it has a clear title, which it does, because AutoCheck has conflicting information. Even though I explained the conflict in the description, eBay has an automated scanning system that crosschecked the title status and Autocheck, and cancelled my auction - even though it was accurate. Not trying to hide anything. Yes, this vehicle sustained damage 33 years ago, but not sure what bearing that has on its condition today!
