1979 GMC high sierra 35 1 Ton 2 wheel drive
The truck was from a farm in Oregon with showing only 8315 miles on it and on the title not sure if it rolled over. It is 100% original paint with a little patina on the top, no rust at all on the frame or floors carpet was removed because it was in poor condition and found the original paint on the floors still shiny and perfect. There is two small tiny rust hole One on the passenger side front fender dogleg at the bottom and one on the passenger side cab corner both very small and easily repaired but I wanted to leave the truck 100% original paint so I did not repair them. The truck has been completely rebuilt from front to back. The original engine ran rough from sitting for a long time so it was replaced with a new 350 Crate engine. It is a 4 bolt main Vortech block and cylinder heads with a mild roller cam Edelbrock intake and rebuilt original Quadra jet carburetor. New oversize aluminum radiator and hoses New custom built 3 inch stainless tig welded exhaust. Original TH400 transmission was removed Opened up thoroughly clean and inspected. 14 bolt rear end was opened up, thoroughly clean and inspected. It has 4.11 gears. Suspension and brakes gone through completely new front brake pads new rear brake shoes, springs and seals new master cylinder, new Hydro boost booster new shocks and bushings. During the engine replacement, the underneath of hood was completely disassembled, power, washed, and painted with epoxy primer and urethane topcoat. Original wheels sandblasted powder coated and 4 new fire stone E rated tires installed. Dual tank fuel system completely rebuilt with new sending units tank transfer valve was upgraded to newer style with electric switch, new fuel lines, and an electric pump with fuel regulator and return line. The truck runs and drives like new. The only thing it would need if somebody wanted would be some interior work. I left the carpet out to show him how solid the floors are. Original Engine would go with it if wanted.
