1993 GMC Typhoon Turbo AWD 2dr SUV Additional Info:
Classic Car Addict is proud to present this awesome 1993 GMC Typhoon with 5,800 original miles for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. The Typhoon is a rare machine, with fewer than 5,000 being built between 1993 and 1993. This final year Typhoon is one of 532 produced with white on white. The turbocharged GMC Typhoon, based on the S10 Blazer/Jimmy, was an all-wheel-drive monster. The Typhoon was initially delivered to Tony M. Coury Buick of Mesa, Arizona and has stayed in Arizona all its life. Originally owned by Tony M. Coury himself, he sold it to our consignor in 2013. He purchased the SUV with 4,125 miles and the odometer shows exactly 5,800 miles today. You can tell this one never saw rain, Monsoons, or snow. It spent all its life in a cooled garage. The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leather joined by matching carpeting and a gray dashboard and door panel trim. Equipment includes a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, front seat power lumbar adjustment, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco cassette stereo with an equalizer. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost-pressure gauge, and a combination gauge. The Typhoon is finished in Frost White and is still the original paint with no sun fade, no scratches, nothing. It is LITERALLY a brand-new vehicle. Equipment includes the aerodynamic packaging, integrated front fog lights, tinted windows, and a rear window wiper. The turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 was factory rated at 280 horsepower and 360 lb.-ft of torque and is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 4-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a BorgWarner transfer case. She rolls on factory Turbine styled aluminum wheels. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage reported. Don't miss out on this awesome piece of history! Call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.
