1986 GMC Sierra 1500 Additional Info:

I have a 1986 GMC Sierra k-1500 High Sierra for sale. I am the second owner of this truck and have owned it for two years. It has pretty much sat in my barn the whole time I have owned it. I intended to do a restore on it, but had another addition to my family and now will need something with more room. Truck is really nice and one of the cleanest frames I have seen. It is not perfect as expected from a non restored 86. Floor pans are starting to rust and the lower passenger door has some also. Truck was repainted at some point, is not a professional job but looks pretty good. This is a very solid truck with under 48,000 on the odometer, I truly believe that is accurate mileage after see it in person. -Motor is a Aftermarket 350 with World product aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, Holley Carb, Long tube headers and true duels dumped after rear axle. Has a cam in it but do not know specs. I would guess around 400hp, has tons of power and sounds amazing.-Transmission is a 700r4 shifts great, had it inspected by a local transmission shop after purchase.-Has brand new brakes all around as well as new locking hubs.-Grill was damaged when i bought it so I installed a new grille and upgraded the headlights and wiring to a relay kit that pulls from the battery and not the electrical system. Gives it better lighting and easier on truck wiring. Did not buy the GMC symbol yet.Would make a great restore project or drive it as is. Contact me with any questions.
