1993 GMC Vandura Scooby Doo Additional Info:
This iconic "Mystery Machine" van is ready for your next mystery.
This van was modeled after the 2020 "SCOOB" on-screen movie van and was being scheduled to go to the premiere. Sadly, Corona halted all plans for a big premiere and the movie went straight to a streaming platform. That said, this vehicle is now collecting dust and, not unlike Scoob in the movie, could use a good home. The van was originally a 1993 GMC van in which the entire original body was removed. It then had 4 ft. cut out of the middle and 1 ft. cut off of the back to give you the platform that was used for this build. This is the first "real" cartoon version of this iconic van ever built. This is not a van with a paint job, but rather a completely built from scratch body (The way it looked in the cartoons) including doors, windows, bumpers, rack with "Mystery,Inc." gadgets, and even real surfboards (Just like in the "SCOOB" movie). The body is a steel tubular structure with all steel body panels. Custom everything, this vehicle was built to be shown. The interior is wrapped floor to ceiling in SeaDek material with paw prints on the floor and iconic pix of Scooby and the whole gang on the inner sidewalls. This van could be driven almost anywhere, however, I think it is better used as a show vehicle than a daily driver. Feel free to ask questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your interest and have a great day.
