1977 GMC Sierra 2500 Additional Info:
Up for auction is my 1977 GMC pickup truck. I bought this truck in 1984 in Tucson, AZ to tow my ski boat. It has everything one could want in a heavy duty truck of this age. From the factory big block 454 ci engine and turbo 400 automatic transmission, dual tanks, A/C the camper special suspension package makes for the perfect boat towing camper hauling truck. After selling the ski boat in 1998 this was a daily driver until 2005. It has been mostly garage/hangar kept and spent many years in dry Arizona. Currently in the Houston area stored in an aircraft hangar. It does need some TLC to be returned to daily driver status or could be a great candidate for a show truck refurbishment project. This is not a rusted out work truck. I have included in the pictures a list of known issues and what I would like to do with it if I had the time. Runs good has newer tires, battery, and carburetor has a current state registration sticker and a clean title. A/C blows cold but needs a new compressor clutch as it makes noise sometimes. Has stiff suspension so the ride is rough until loaded down. Gets about 10-12 mpg as it is geared low for hauling a load, plenty of power though. Would make a great weekend boat hauler!
