1972 GMC 1500 Series Additional Info:
1972 GMC Super Custom 4x4 long-bed. California truck, 2 second owner since 1973. 4 speed granny box. Have original350 in storage. It ran when pulled just started to use oil.Plan was to build a 383 from it.My father found a 1967 or 1968 327 350 hp short-blockhe installed with a set of Dart-2 heads 72cc. His plane was to put a small superchargeron. It never happened. So the compression is around 8.5 to 1. Themotor has approx, 15k miles on it. 2 1/2 inch exhaust with flow master mufflers.Have a set of brand new heavy duty headman headers $600+ in the box.
33x12.50x15 BFG KM2 tires with approx. 500 miles on them. Enki wheels 4:56 gears with posi rear, 12 bolt rear with Dana 44 front, 4 inch lift. Original paint with some minor surface rust in a few places. Now being next to the coast the chrome is taking a hit and beginningto rust. As you see truck is a very solid and straight. Needs minor fixes, needs new heating/defrost tubes, fuel sending unit, clutch, wipers, window channels lubed, fix bench seat, clear coat or new paint job.
