1971 GMC 3500 Camper Special Additional Info:

1971 GMC 3500 one ton dually. Condition is Used. Very nice cab with no rust through, minor rust where front body mounts to the inner rocker panel. 2010 6.0 liter LS out of a 2500 van, 6 speed auto. While I had the engine on the stand I replaced the oil pump, timing gears and chain and rod and main bearings, transmission got a fluid and filter change. Engine runs super, controlled by a Speartech wiring harness and ecu. The truck has been completely rewired from front to back with an American Autowire kit. New front brake pads and a hydraboost booster installed. Has six new tires as well as 2 spare tires and wheels that come with it. New shocks, battery, heater core, u-joints and drive shaft. Interior is nice with new bezel around gauges and all new glass, carpet and seat was recovered, something must have spilled on the passenger side of the seat as it has a worn through area there, sound deadening on floor. The chassis has been stretched to a wheelbase of 190 inches. it has a 5 foot sleeper cab mounted but the inside of the sleeper has not been finished. Has a one year old CM aluminum flat bed with storage compartments. Another cool part on this truck is the Autoflex air suspension on the back axle it automatically adjusts the ride height as the truck is loaded, it also makes for a very smooth ride when unloaded. The original front bumper and grill have been rechromed and all new weather striping has been installed. I will also consider selling without the flat bed with a 3500 dollar price reduction.
