VERY RARE 1965 '396' CHEVY ENGINE in a GMC 4x4 pickup

Offered for sale is a 1965 Chevy 396 engine, according to the plate affixed to the truck that it is installed in.Included is the titled GMC 4x4 truck. Truck has some body rust, but is a good driving automatic with 4x4.New tires have about 200 miles on them. New rebuilt 750CFM carburetor, fuel pump, plugs & wires.Truck had been sitting for about 1 1/2 years, had new brakes up front along with new rotors and 4 new tires when it decided to quit running. Got parked until last month, when a mechanic installed the new fuel system and rebuilt 750 carburetor, etc. on it and got it running. It smokes from right bank and we don't have the ability to rebuild or replace the engine. The tires and new parts totaled over $2000.00 not including any labor.Buy it, pull the 396 out and install a used 350 in it and sell the truck. Used 350's are common and cheap. That's what the truck had originally.You could end up with a really cheap genuine 396, or both the engine and a fun 4x4 that you don't have to worry about.If you only want the engine, we can pull it, palletize it ready for shipment, and load it on your truck.
