A full blacked-out sports truck with fuel-injected power, sleek looks, and a bucket-seat interior. This 1992 GMC Sonoma GT is a well-preserved classic that really has a dark side. Light cannot escape from a black hole, and that's exactly also what this truck feels like from its first impression. After all, the black has a gloss that looks like it consumes all the light around it and radiates it like a star. And this is believed to be... the original factory application. The reason it can still look so good is because this has led a well-respected life and averaged less than 2,100 miles annually. GMC was serious about creating a mean GT truck, and so they gave it plenty of the Syclone's sporty appearance. This includes the front air dam w/fog lights, full body kit, and color-matched bumpers. And because a tonneau was part of the factory package, the bed has been protected from day one (that's why it's still as glossy and straight as the rest of the truck.) While GMC did a terrific job with the whole package, this one is a bit meaner than the rest of the GTs out there. This has a lowered suspension with special Corvette-style 17-inch black alloys. And we love how even this upgrade was detailed correctly with the bold red GMC center caps. The inside of this truck feels like a sports car. It starts with deeply bolster black velour seats that have red piping to give this the same attitude as the outside. And this style is continued on the door panels and carpeting. You get plenty of comfort features as standard, including power windows, power locks, provisions for air conditioning, an armrest center console, and the factory premium AM/FM/CD stereo with five-band equalizer. This is a very factory-correct package, and they wanted you to know you were driving something special. That's why you have the sports steering wheel, and beyond that is the full round gauge package w/tach that looks like it belongs on one of GM's Super Sport models. Under the hood is a fuel-injected 4.3-liter V6 motor. This is a very correct and clean presentation, which is another reminder of this GT's well-kept life. The V6 fires up with authority and runs like a reliable GMC should. This Vortec powerplant in the lightweight single-cab pickup was a great combination to really give this truck the performance to back up its looks. There was even a sports suspension upgrade as part of the GT package, and so it handles well on the streets. Plus, with grippy performance tires, power steering, front disc brakes, anti-lock brakes, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, and you soon realize this a great driver for any time. Complete with the original warranty card and owner's manual, this is a distinct and well-preserved performance pickup. So don't let this deal pass you by, call today!
