1970 GMC Sierra 1500 Additional Info:

Just a little background info. I found this truck a while back where it was and had been sitting in a large enclosed warehouse for the past 16 years. I rescued it and put my own little touches to it and have decided to let it move on to another for their enjoyment. It has a clean Oregon Title in my name. It had a fleet side bed but I decided to swap that onto my 1971 K10. Cab corners A pillars and braces are rust free. Truck was virtually rust free when I got it. That being said, on to the description.Selling my 1970 GMC complete with Olds 455 High Nickle block 396021F, GA casting Factory Hardened Heads Turbo 400 Transmission and newer step side bed off a 97 Silverado. I threw on a rear roll pan instead of a bumper, I think it looks cleaner. Truck is colored in Blue Flame Metallic 2 stage paint. It is decent but could use a fine tune polish to make it really pop. Motor runs great fresh rebuilt Rochester 4bbl as well as new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat, fuel pump/filters, air cleaner, alternator, heater hoses, wire sleeves, alt/water pump belts, vacuum lines and newer battery. No issues shifting gears. Has a new drive line and 12 bolt rear. Raptor Brand Bed liner and as you can see there are NO dents or dings in or on the bed. Tailgate has new hardware latches rubber bumpers and cables.
All exterior lights/signals hi/low beam work as well as interior dome light heater control and most instrument lights (2 out at time of creating listing). NEW side markers as well as rear tail lights. Truck has new carpet full floor to tank, new instrument bezel, door weatherstripping, exterior handles with gaskets, door, hood, ashtray and glovebox rubber bumpers, exterior locks and gaskets, window felts and channel run, interior door handles, window cranks, door pulls, lock knobs, engine wiring gutter, cowl to hood seal, Trash Guard (painted stainless mesh under cowl holes), wipers and blades, polished stainless thresh hold fillers, stainless rocker "sill" plates, pedal pads stainless pedal inserts, flashers, Ignition switch, and cover on fuel tank. Seats are 60/40 split buckets from a 97 Silverado. Seats have power lumbar but are not wired up and adjust with the standard lever under fronts.I have left the stock GM radio in, it DOES work but it and antennae are not hooked up and needs dash speaker. Heater/def works and fan blows hard and quiet. IF you noticed,I used 72 interior door handles/rests as I liked the look versus the bulky 67-71 pieces.
Hood scoop is faux and is just compression screwed through the hood via 4 small holes. So if you were wondering NO I never gouged a gaping hole in there. I have used stainless hardware whenever possible on this.Tires are Cooper Cobra 235/60/15 in front and Grand Am 275/60/15 in the rear all on solid aluminum wheels all with center caps. Tires are 80% front and 50% rear tread.Frame was painted when bed was off a while ago. Underside of bed is undercoated as well as cab. Has older Monroe shocks and rides really smooth, steering is responsive and drives/stops straight. Front disc rear drum. Has dual exhaust all the way back. Mufflers and pipe are solid. At time of pictures I had not decided on exhaust tips or if I wanted to run it straight out the back or in front of rear wheels. So the way it is in the pics is what you will get. Front bumper on lower right has a coupe scratches but no dents. Body has one small dent under rear window. It is slightly obscured with my for sale sign but nothing major. Headrests can be removed from seat backs. Center console folds down for armrest and CD and misc storage. I was going to remove the tank from cab and fill the hole to get more room for speakers etc and mount a Blazer fuel tank between frame rails where spare goes. Just never got around to it but the fuel door in bed side is there if someone wanted. ONLY area of concern would be the front right inner fender. It has a Half Dollar sized area where the battery acid has eaten through, not a big deal. The actual paint code is OEM SZ,M7220A,9DSE,WHA,9DSEXHA, orPPG922373 if that makes it easier lol.Truck needs seat belts, other than that, it's ready to cruise.
CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I will answer as quickly as possible.
I am in a somewhat rural location in Coos Bay Oregon but will get it to town for your transport driver to save on your shipping costs. I can "possibly" get it to the Loves Truck Stop on I-5 in Winston Oregon. Other than that shipping rates and charges are on the purchaser. Thank you for viewing my post and good luck.
