California styling, still black plates. Three plus year restoration! Under two thousand miles on the build!
Truck is show quality and not for the timid!
Truck is laser straight, no rust body. Shaved rain-roof rails and all emblems…nice restoration. Painted in PPG satin black with a matte clear. New chrome- front bumper, headlight bezels, parking lamp lenses, door handles, mirrors, tailgate chains, wiper cowl. All glass, frames, window gaskets are new, windows then were tinted “smoke”. Rear-end is tubbed and finished in the bed of truck, New wood kit in bed and treated with tung oil. GMC grill replaced with Chevrolet, screwed right in without any additional installation. Looks killer!!! All headlights, tail lights, turn signals work without issue.
Inside brand new top to bottom (restored to factory look) Interior was painted high gloss red to make it stand out and contrast the flat black exterior. Dash pulled and new wiring harness installed, since other was sixty years old! Original bench seat restored with all new foam and two-tone red and black to tie everything together. New carpet, floor mats, window cranks, door handles, rearview mirror, all new dash knobs, radio, Ididit chrome tilt steering column and billet steering wheel, billet dash components, red custom headliner with sound proofing, and inner glove box. The shifter is a Kilduff quick floor shift. Top of the line Optima battery and Billet battery cover relocated behind front seat!
Engine compartment, the best part of the beast! Motor is NOM, but vintage Chevy 350 small block (bbc). It was been professional brought back to life Scat crank, Eagle rods, Speed-Pro pop-up pistons, bored .30 over and balanced, true double roller time chains (real important with her power!) Chromalloy hardened push rods, 1.5 aluminum roller rockers, Lunati camshaft 525-548 cam shaft, World SR heads 201, 160 exhaust stainless steel Manley valve single intak, 750 Demon Cup Race carburetor, polished long tub headers, Spectre chrome air-cleaner and breather, chrome alternator and brackets, belt system, upgraded chrome power steering assembly and pump, MSD ignition and HEI distributor, frame mounted master cylinder, oversized aluminum four core radiator with polished overflow, Erson valve covers, etc., etc. you get the idea. If you price this motor build out, you will understand the quality and commitment to the build and the type of horsepower we are talking about (guess 500+++)! Yes, runs on premium pump gas/petro. Transmission is a vintage Power-glide 350 with 3000 stall that shifts without hesitation. Custom 3” dual exhaust with a tone that is amazing!
The fronten, suspension and undercarriage are completely rebuilt. Frontend has a 1979’s mustang II front clip with disc brakes, Posi-Rear end with 350 gears. Gas tank relocated underneath rear of the bed with top mounted gas filler.
Truck stance is staggered, sits on 20” B/G with big tires. Lug pattern is Chevy 5x4¾ front and back.
Truck could be driven as a daily driver and win car shows on the weekend. Truly, a one-o-a-kind!
