History of this Blazer:
Joseph Perrone, of Ludington Michigan order the Jimmy new while living in Lansing Michigan. Mr Perrone factory order the vehicle to his specifications after visiting Coe-Hayden Motors GMC and The local Chevrolet Dealership in town. He visited both dealerships and compared to getpricingand offers. Aftercomparing notes he decided to to order the GMC as it was a more upscale truck and less of them were built. He was very particular to the cosmetics of the truck which can be seen in the option, little options like the all black wing mirrors as opposed to the chrome. Today option like this are a premium or called blackout option, where as Mr Perronereceived a credit. Mr Perrone rarely drove the Jimmy and cared for it like a special baby which is evident in the pictures and condition.
Val Gorzynski.of Ludington, Michiganacquired the Jimmyfrom Joseph Perrone in anunusual story. Valregular visits the local American Legion and would regularly visit with Joe. During one of there talks Val mentioned to Joe he was interested in purchasing a 1969-1972 Chevrolet Blazer. Joe responded"you should buy my 1973 GMC Jimmy", not listening much to Joe - Val says Im looking for the Roundbody not the Squarebody. Some time passes by when the the two are talking again at the American Legion and Joe ask Val if he ever found a Blazer? Val says no but he is still looking. Joe says "youShould've bought mine, where else would you have found a 1-Owner 44k mile all original Jimmy? This perks Vals interest andVal responds youdidn't say 1-owner 44k miles. Joes says youdidn't have any interest.
Joe had sold the truckto a mutual American Legion member and the 3 of them got together and made an agreement.
