My wife has become pretty great at arranging delivery. She has established excellent shipping contacts, and will be happy to help you. With the exception of the bank transfer for payment, you’ll hardly have to lift a finger. Plus, whatever your shipping quote is, she can maybe get a better deal.

TIME CAPSULE
Vehicle history:
This van was special ordered new with every available option.
It was the tip-top tip, of the top of the line.
The original owners were a somewhat elderly couple with no kids, and no pets. They thoroughly enjoyed their occassional trip to Las Vegas, and that is what this van was bought for. The entire rear section of the van was never sat in, never used, and accommodated nothing more than carrying their luggage.
We are only the 2nd owners. We’d bought this van after we sold our motorhome to find a newer one, and hadn’t decided upon something suitable yet. We bought this van so we didn’t miss out on our semi-yearly trip through the mountains. We had a hitch installed to tow our boat, and added some brand new 22” sparkly chrome wheels to update the look. The van has worked flawlessly for us. It gets an endless array of compliments. Now it sits parked in our garage.
General information:
It’s difficult to describe something of this vintage and calibre. Your eyes will have a hard time connecting with your brain that you are looking at a 1982. I know mine did. I am struggling to find the words to explain how nice it truly is. Without holding back, I am certain, it will exceed the highest of your expectations. The van has been kept indoors all of it’s life, and has probably nearly the same shine as day-1, when it was first delivered. The interior shows no wear whatsoever, both front and rear air conditioners blow nice and cold.
Vintage boogie vans are becoming all the rage, and skyrocketing in value. This isn’t somebody’s freestyle conversion, done to their specific tastes but, rather a Starcraft factory conversion. These were sold new by General Motors at select dealerships. To find something like this, in the condition it is in, with the mileage it has….. Well, probably goes without saying.
Without doing a thing to this van, or lifting a finger, I know it should win the Unrestored “Survivor” category at most car shows. We have several vintage, muscle, and collector vehicles but haven't had opportunity to show any of them this year, or last year even.
Additional general information:
At this point in my description, I would normally do a walk-around of the vehicle and note imperfections. However, there’s really nothing that I find mentionable. We have found the motorhome we want, and the van has fulfilled it’s purpose. I think somebody will have A LOT OF FUN with this unit. It presents itself as, well... basically showroom fresh and new.
We have two sets of tires and wheels for the van. I photographed it with the brand new 22’s but, it comes with it’s factory 15’s. The factory rally rims are in excellent condition but, the tires are aged. Even though they have at least 80% tread life remaining, I would not feel safest with fresh new rubber. As such, I will be putting new tires on those wheels for you.
So I guess, that brings us here. We are letting the van go with a VERY LOWRESERVE. Please understand, that’s a big decision. Only thing I ask is that you, as the buyer, please be considerate of our request for a simple and easy transaction.
SHIPPING/DELIVERY:
I’d say that, in our experience, most (maybe 75%) American destinations fall between the 15-hundred to 2-thousand dollar range. To play safe, please budget for at least that amount. We are running an unreserved auction so, the savings should help offset any shipping/delivery costs. Please also note that, as mentioned, my wife has become pretty adept at making all the arrangements so you get your car as quickly as can be.
Titling and/or registrationEverything is perfectly transferrable and will be signed over and taken care of for you immediately following the sale. It is free to travel without restriction and titling is universal. The only extra cost is a $120-150 customs brokerage fee. My wife has everything ready to go for the car, and will only need your information filled in, once the sale is completed, to finalize the ownership.
I’m happy to answer any inquiries, so feel free to write. I welcome and encourage anyone’s questions. We welcome 3rd party inspections, and encourage them. As well, we invite anyone wishing to see in person and will happily accommodate. If you’d like to speak over the phone, please let me know and we’ll arrange a call. Good communication is pivotal to a happy transaction. If you prefer to email me directly, write to bravohomes@rocketmail.com
Procedure is very important to us and we have a perfect little system that has proven very simple and effective in making everyone happy.
It goes as follows:
Simple as that.
Now, just so that everyone is aware, we are not willing to deviate from our little system. We deviated twice, and been defrauded twice. If, for any reason, this does not work for you, we’ll assume that something isn’t “right” anyway.
Check our feedback.
IT IS YOUR BEST RESOURCE.
Each and every one is for a 30-60 year old car or truck.
You’ll see that nobody is just “happy”.
Everyone is OVERJOYED.
