1991 GMC SYCLONE,RARE SAUDI EXPORT TRUCK,VERY CLEAN,LOW MILES!!! |
Up for sale is a 1991 GMC Syclone pickup. This is no ordinary Syclone, it is 1 of the 113 Saudi Syclones made for export to the middle east for sale. If you are unfamiliar with these Saudi trucks, here is a link for more information
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_Syclone There are only a few different collectible versions of the Syclone and the Saudis's are among them.
This is a 53k mile truck that has had some very expensive and tasteful upgrades that make it even more fun then a stock Syclone. The exterior is in excellent overall condition with only a handfull of small chips or blems from normal driving but nothing that detracts from the outstanding overall condition. The lower cladding has been painted shinyblack to match the top half of the truck. The tonneau cover has been upgraded to a flush mounted solid fiberglass piece thattilts up for loading items.
The interior is in excellent condition also and the only items changed from stock are the seats which have been reupholstered in leather with suede inserts in the same pattern as the original cloth seats, an upgraded stereo and the addition of an a pillar mounted boost and tachometer gauges.
The big money was spent on the massive Stop-tech front and rear disc brake upgrade kit (about $7,000) which barely fit inside the 18 inch Z06 wheels. (Stock wheels will not fit back on the truck with the massive brake kit). It also has an adjustable coilover suspension at all 4 corners along with tubular front control arms so not only is the height adjustable but there is much better geometry suspension articulation which makes this Syclone handle far better then it was originally designed to. The rest of the drivetrain is totally stock with the exception of an open K&N air filter and an external blow off valve.
I purchased this truck out of the largest Syclone/Typhoon collection in the country where it has been sitting for the last 10 years. I had my mechanic go thru the truck from front to back and replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, fuel filter and converted the air conditioning to R134A and it blows ice cold.
