1929 GMC Other Additional Info:
This is a 1929 GMC Fire truck. It was in the Wichita fire department. It was restored and the engine was rebuilt. Then it was in a museum in San Francisco for years, But when the owner died the kids put it up for sale. I bought it and had a blast with it. I did parades and car shows. I would drive people around in it. Then one day it wouldnt run right. It ended up being a crack and hole in the carb ram causing it to suck in air. I was going to use JB weld on it but decidedto just buy another one.Well like all my other projects a week became a month then a year then 3 years. It has been in the sun so now the wood needs to be sanded and redone, There are a few spots where the wood will need preplacing. The paint could use a buffing. everything worked the last time i used it including the pump. AlthoughI never used it. I was going to fill the water tanks with weed killer and spray my yard. Everything is original. The nozzles and extinguishers are antique. When running it is cool and fun. I would just rather sell it than watch it fall apart while it waits for me to get to it. If you have any questions just ask. I will help with the transport co.Remember it needs TLC, It is not ready to take to the show yet..$500 deposit due within 48 hours.
