Selling a 1972 GMC swb with 56k original miles. truck has 307 / 350 . Truck was originally a 3sp. Column was changed at the time of the trans. swap with a tilt column out of a Cheyenne, all linkage is correct and looks like it came from the factory that way. Original water pump was rebuilt. Factory disc brakes in front as well as 2.5 inch drop spindles and 1 inch drop springs in front, 5 inch drop springs in back and new kyb shocks all the way around.A shock relocation kit, adjustable track bar and front sway bar have all been installed from Early Classics. Truck has class 3 hidden hitch as well as spare tire relocation kit also from Early Classics. Truck is nearly rust free, a pin hole in passenger rocker and a hole smaller than a dime on the driver side inner rocker area right near front of sill plate. Truck is all og paint except for front drivers fender above and around marker light where original owner had a small repair done years ago after bumping a pole on the farm. The tailgate was also painted at some point. Body is very straight. Runs and drives very nice. Windshield has a small fish eye which has been treated by a glass company to prevent further cracking. Tires are nearly new. Lower portion of seat was recovered with NOS fabric from sms fabrics and I have enough to do upper portion of seat when and if someone chooses to do so. It will be hard to find another unrestored truck as clean and rusty free. Please some one buy before I force myself to do an LS swap.
Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I can provide more pics if needed and can answer all questions.
