1946 GMC Other Custom Additional Info:
This is a 1946 GMC 1 Ton Truck, that was a Military tanker truck in California at the end of World War II. After that the truck went to a horse ranch in California. About 10 years ago it was brought to Indiana where it became a Hot Rod with only about 900 miles on it. Truck has a 327 Engine, .40 over pistons, roller rocker cam & lifters, aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI distributor & aluminum radiator. The transmission is a 700R4 overdrive. The rear differential is a 10 bolt out of a 1977 Chevy. The front spindles are also out of a 1977 Chevy (with 4 ¾ Chevy bolt pattern). The truck bed was extended two feet to make it an 8 footer. Truck has Weld True wire wheels, rears are 15"x19" and the fronts are 15"x8" with Mickey Thompson 15"x21.5"x33" tires. Truck has 6" Chrome semi stacks & a homemade long custom floor shifter. You can see more of this truck on YouTube @ 4madmax4444. I have had this truck for about 7 years, it's loud, fast & fun to drive! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call Mike at 317-490-3178. THANK YOU.
