1934 Ford Other Additional Info:
If you're in the market for an all steel, not patched together, full fendered, upholstered, smooth running 34 Ford 3W coupe that you can drive everyday and are willing to pay ALL the money i.e. what the car is worth keep reading. If not pass this one by as this is not a fire sale, this is just about the nicest, all steel, not messed with by idiots 34 3W I have seen in a long time. The look may not be for everyone as the builder worked very hard to achieve the correct "patina" so many find attractive. Some one spent hours on the paint, then cleared over it to maintain the look along with the same on the grill. This grill is excellent and who knows, under that paint and quite honestly, beautiful pinstriping there could be shiny chrome. As mentioned, the sheet metal is excellent and aside from a small dent on the passenger front fender top, probably caused by dropping something on it, this car is straight and the factory floor is excellent. Patina look is extended to the faded and cleared windshield frame and Guide head lights which include signals. The frame on this car is a work of art, all factory original with no pitting and the original vin in the correct place and easily readable. Glass is all recent and lightly tinted. Interior is very, very nice with a new and also excellent headliner, every hot rodder should have access to an upholstery guru like this guy. The mentioned original frame is nicely boxed and is using a Super Bell front with huge disc brakes, very well done parallel leaf 9" rear with the normal drums. Fuel tank is newer with anti splash back valve in the filler, battery is a new Optima with a remote shut off. Steering is the common bolt in rack, dash is steel with all functioning gauges and an AM-FM-CD in the glove box. Firewall is very well done and set back. Engine is a stock out of the box nice running and very smooth 350 SBC with Edelbrock carb and aluminum manifold. Transmission is also stock, smooth shifting column with no banging of the gears and the 9" rear is an open 3.00. A new addition is the complete AN fuel system from pump to carb. All door handles, cranks are new and doors lock as original with door pins added for safety. Top was filled by someone who knew their stuff with all wood framework still in place. There is a nice set of repro bumpers and brackets included. Everything works well electrically and the only two negatives I can find in the whole car would be the lack of a wiper and glass window garnish moldings, I would not have noticed but I replaced the driver window crank with a repro, original is included. Wheels are recent dual pattern steel with BFG tires of the same age. I have a clear NYS title/transferable registration in my name for this car and as always there will be no test pilots. I have two of these cars and when one sells the other is off the market as it will be the winter play toy in the shop. The other is not available at the moment. No trades on this one and no BIN, reserve will NOT be disclosed but it is over $50k. Cash or wire transfer, Thanks.
