1966 Ford Other Additional Info:
You are looking at a stunning 1966 GT40 North America in pristine condition with only 680 miles. She's finished with the most desired Ford GT Red with Black leather hides (real leather). This is one of the last MKI GT40 cars built by GT40 North America. It used carbon fiber extensively in the body and interior. It came out of the famous 600 car John O'Quinn collection and only has 600 miles on it. These cars were manufactured in Indianapolis as turn key cars ready to roll. The body and interior dash and console used carbon fiber extensively. This is one of the later cars produced and utilized more carbon fiber and has been well finished under the front hood unlike some of the earlier cars I've seen. The 392/485 HP engine was specifically made for this car and supplied by ROUSH. The transmission is the one you want, a ZF 5-speed manual. There is of course air conditioning and full instrumentation. She's equipped with 4 wheel disk brakes, SAT radio, incredible exhaust, stewart warner Maximum performance gauges, and simpson 4 point harness. She sits on 17 inch wheels with ZR rated Yokohama tires. All fans, lights, blinkers, AC, and radio work perfectly. This car is ridiculously fast with a 2,000 pound curb weight and 485 HP delivered via Roush. At the 2004 SEMA show in Las Vegas SONY awarded the GT40 MKI by GT40 North America the their "Best Domestic Automobile" award. The build cost on these were high due to the high quality of materials used and had a MSRP of over $125,000.00 so very few were produced. The fit and finished on this car is unlike any other GT-40 on the market. The paint is incredible with 0 orange peel and no dirt specks in the clear coat. This car is titled as a 1966 Ford which makes it great for export. Call Nick on my cell direct 239 269 7713 call or text with any questions you may have. I welcome you to take advantage of this rare opportunity to own a piece of American history that was built by the most reputable builders of all time.
