The car comes with previous owner history.
This Shelby has much documented history including a copy of the original order sheet. The car has been listed in the SAAC Shelby Registry since 1987. In 1986, the car was involved in a front end collision which earned it a salvage title and in which the Ford chassis numbers were lost. Ray Harrington, owner of California Pony Cars, rescued car from the wrecking ball shortly thereafter. He stored the car for 20 years before beginning his meticulous restoration with the drivability upgrades he desired. However, he was unable to complete the restoration due to his untimely death in 2012. Dream Car Restoration, Inc. stepped in and completed Ray’s vision of restoring the Shelby to better than original condition and standards. We do have the original VIN tag.
An absolute joy to drive!
