Assembled at the Richmond California Ford Plant this truck had been locally owned since built. It is noteworthy that this vehicle is under its third ownership. The truck was initially used to transport produce in the Fremont region.Thisone and a half tonvehicle has a black diamond plate steel flatbed (8'6"x 6'6") with stake sides, and is repainted in a near original Ford tan paint color. The body is basically sound but has some deep rust in the usual spots.This vehicle has the original straight flat-6 engine which was rebuilt in 1985 by Moose Motors in Berkeley, CA. With 10,000originalmiles the rebuild included updated valves for unleaded fuel use. The transmission is a 5-speed on the floor without synchromesh. Recent service includes oil change, brake work, rebuilt carburetor, new water pump, and fuel pump.The interior is all original and the seat upholstery is in good shape and it has the original heater. The truck tires are 7.50-17 max load 2,800 lbs.
