1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
For a fun video of this car, go to:https://youtu.be/3n27AlPhJ5gThis car was purchased by my Dad for my mother on May 13, 1965 from Tipton Ford in Houston, Texas. This car has been lovingly driven and cared for by the same family since it was purchased new in 1965. The Mustang was always garaged, pampered, and well-maintained. My mother never owned another car and drove her Mustang until she couldn't continue to drive due to failing eyesight. I "bought" it from her because she couldn't stand the thought of it not 'being in our family'. Now it is time for it to bring joy to someone else. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a true classic, "little old lady", 'one owner', numbers matching, 1965 Mustang. The car was extensively restored in 1992, including engine and transmission overhaul, new belts, hoses, motor mounts, etc., new chrome, stripped to bare metal and re-painted, and more. I have all of the documentation for the work. It has very low mileage since restoration.I "purchased" the Mustang from my mother in 2002 and have been restoring it for the last few years. I have replaced the radiator, tires, brakes, shocks, alternator, carpet, door panels, glove box door, door and window gaskets, etc. I added chrome valve covers, dual exhaust, electronic ignition and a CD player/changer hidden and out of sight in the glove box and trunk. I have all of the documentation for everything I did, which is too much to mention here. I kept the original parts, if working, for most everything I replaced with aftermarket parts, and they will be included in this sale (door panels, glove box door, valve covers, etc.).While this Mustang is in very good condition, it isn't 'perfect', and it is not a trailer queen, but would qualify more as an extremely nice daily driver. I have found no rust, including floor pans and trunk. The interior is very clean. The exterior shows signs of normal wear and tear, but nothing significant (paint chips, dings, minor scratches, etc.). It starts and runs great, burns no oil, shifts crisply, and the AC blows cold. Even the original AM radio works. This is a turnkey car, ready to drive as soon as it arrives! Please ask any questions, look at the photos and video and have fun.Don't miss this extremely rare opportunity to have your own classic Mustang with more than 50 years of documented history. For a fun video of this car, go to:https://youtu.be/3n27AlPhJ5g
