This is a rust free California car freshly completed using Ford’s 1967 Candy Apple Red (PPG71528) with 52,456 actual miles on the odometer.
Upgraded 250 cu in Ford engine and 3-speed transmission (small block Ford 289 will fit right into the engine bay).
Fresh powder-coated 280ZX rims with like new tires (original rims and hubcaps go with the car).
The interior is completed in a marine grade “saddle” color Naugahyde material on the seats, kick panels, doors and rear panel. A new headliner is also installed.
Front seats are donated from a 1978 Mustang and very comfortable
Sound deadener/heat barrier was glued in place before the new brown carpet was installed
New hood hinges
The electrical has been upgraded including a new turn signal switch, new battery, headlights and bulbs. Everything works as it should.
New glass seals, window felt and front windshield
New radiator, hoses, clamps and heater core
New alternator, starter, solenoid, water pump and fuel pump
New front springs from Summit Racing.
New pressure plate, clutch disc, throw-out bearing and bronze pilot bushing
Brakes are rebuilt with new drums and master cylinder.
Re-chromed original metal including bed rails, bumpers, hood ornament and door handles, etc.
Stainless metal has been polished.
All fluids have been changed with new seals in the rear end and transmission. Shifter bushings have been updated.
Original Montgomery Ward air conditioning system also goes with the car (separate from the car).
My car is a real head turner that couldn’t be built for what I have invested into it. It runs and looks great!
