UP FOR SALE IS MY FORD RANCHERO JESSE JAMES CUSTOM
BUILD READS:
This 4,300-pound low-ridin', high-buckin' bull started out as a 1970 Ford Ranchero before Jesse and his crew fed it a week's diet of 12 batteries, eight solenoids and four hydraulic pumps and cylinders. Not to mention a mean set of 6' steer horns as a hood ornament. The hydraulics include four pumps and four dumps with .5-inch Parker Plumbing, four #8 wire hoses, four strokes, 2.5-ton coil springs (in front) and 2-ton coil springs (in rear), 14-inch casings with 8-inch shafts in front and 16-inch casings with 10-inch shafts in rear. Special welds include MIG-welded chassis, front A-arm reinforcement and rear stroke platform, as well as Jesse James TIG welding expertise in constructing the monster bull frame in the rear bed. Additional machine parts include custom-built battery racks and front spring towers, as well as interior roll cage, sub-frame connectors and 6' horns on hood. The biggest challenge for the team was finding someone with the guts to ride it.
