Up for sale is this gorgeous 51 Ford F1 pickup with only 24,314 actual miles from new. You won't believe how spectacular this 30+ year old paint is. This truck is as clean on the bottom as it is on the top. Same family owned, always garage kept, was part of 3 weddings. This truck was built in the Louisville Kentucky plant, and is equipped with it's all original 239 cubic inch Flat head V8 and 3 speed manual transmission. Everything at listing is working on the truck including, lights, horn, gauges, heater etc. Tires are old and Brakes should be checked but I drove it home several miles and it drives and shifts effortlessly. The paint is gorgeous with only a few minor scratches, but for a 30 year old paint job it is border line spectacular, near show worthy. Interior is nice and the rubber floor, pedals and steering wheel look like a 24,000 mile vehicles should. The passenger door window has a crack as does the drivers wing vent but they are the original "FORD" stamped glass so we are not going to replace them. A truck like this would easily surpass $50k at one of the major auctions and then you pay buyers fees and so on. Our reserve is considerably less.
