1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GTA Additional Info:

1967 Mustang Fastback GTA 289 A Code C-4 Auto trans
Recently painted Acapulco Blue as it should be... this car is rust free... this was taken down to bare metal... it was painted red and primer when I picked it up...
Replaced the following body components before paint:
- Turn signal hood (Dynacorn)
- Both quarter panels (complete not half way up like many)
- Trunk lid (OEM)
- Both front fenders (Dynacorn)
- Front apron (Dynacorn)
- Rear dual exhaust apron (Dynacorn)
This is an ongoing project, and you may be able to tell I have a few from background pics, I had this shipped from Kansas and did all the hard work and have been investing in parts but have another project (Cobra) I want to move into this space... I've put a few out on eBay the last couple of years and they seem to be heading over seas (i.e., Belgium, New Zealand...)... I welcome International buyers.
Glass is very good condition and new rubber was used during install. The motor in this in not the original... it's actually a 302 block from early 80's with 289 components except 2 barrel setup... it came with the car out of Kansas (which is what the clean title is now as I've not titled it under my name as of yet). It turns over but not what came in the original car. I have a close date correct 289 I was planning on dropping in... the C-4 trans shifts well without issue.
As this is a build in progress, many new parts have been purchased ready to bolt on. I'm sure I will forget some but you'll get the idea:
- Headliner
- Both bumpers
- hood hinges (both)
- Radiator (in box)
- Hood signals (kit)
- Fuel tank (kit)
- other misc...
Interior:
- Fold door seat components (these need to be cleaned up / restored) available
- No front seats available (I was planning on aftermarket setup - like pic in mag that is in the listing)
- All interior fastback plastic molding in good (some new) condition - needs to be painted...
- I do not have the bottom console but do have the top/roof (was going to use a custom drink holder style)
The original interior of this car should be blue decor vinyl bucket seats, however I was on the fence as to customizing a bit and going with black... may be up to the next owner...
Tires (BF Goodrich) and rims are correct 67 with correct caps.
Needs for the car: Brakes need to be rebuilt all away around, exhaust setup
This is a desirable car... Marti Report is included as well as I ordered a new door tag (pic below).
There is a pic included below on what this car would look like completed back to original. Please ask questions. I can provide additional pics as requested.
