1969 Ford Fairlane Fairlane 500 Additional Info:

1969 Ford Fairlane 500 convertible. Driver quality paint, trim, and chrome. All are decent enough to still show the car but this is just a well preserved car. No rust of any significance. The convertible top and cover are very nice. The rear window discolored and splitfrom age, but I am supplying a new zippered window to go with the car. Interior vinyl is excellent with only tiny signs of wear. Carpet is nice.Top operates flawlessly. The 351 Windsor is clean and runs strong with dual exhaust, 4 Bbl carburetor, and Automatic transmission. The wheels are Ford Magnum 500's with new BFG Radials. The car drives smooth. Mileage shows 24,745. I cannot validate that even though the car shows comparable wear.I have some interesting items that go with the car. I have the 69 Ford Fairlane 500 hub caps, Factory original fender skirts, 1969 dated belts, jack and spare, color coded original 1969 Ford Key fob,as well as owners manual.Likes: All of the above Dislikes: 1969 was when Fords had some Park position glitches. Sometimes, I have to pull up on the shift lever for the car to start when I turn the ignition. You can read about the service memo Ford sent about it on line. It's just an adjustment, but everything works fine soI just wanted to mention it. My wife says it's a great theft deterrent when you're the only one that knows. Not many options, but that's the way muscle cars were in the 60's. That's it.Only 2500 of these Fairlane 500 Convertibles were made. So, it's a rare muscle car that's fun to drive cruisin' with the top down.
Please ask any questions prior to auction end. I ask that you bid expecting to pay immediately if you win. The car has no warranty and is sold as is.I'll require a $500.00 deposit at the conclusion of the auction and we can discuss final payment and pick up then.
Good combination of drop top, muscle car,fun summer color, and low production.
Best wishes bidding!
Out of town August 1-7 No pick up that week.
