1968 Ford F-250 Additional Info:
Purchased the truck 1 year ago. It was originally assembled at the San Jose Ford Factory in 1968, sold through a local dealership. I purchased it from the 2nd owner. It's my daily driver-a solid truck- fires upevery time, drives without a miss, hauls loads at 75mph with ease. The body is rough, it was a farm truck before. Dings and dents, faded paint, but no serious rust. California patina all the way. The bed is very rough, rotted in places, but usable. Engine was rebuilt at 100,000 miles and it now has 36,000. Strong engine, holds a steady 17lbs of vacuum. Has an electronic ignition and updated cooling system. I had the C6 rebuilt a year ago. Brakes are good, stops well. Suspension is solid. Power nothing, manual brakes, manual steering, manual windows. No heat, no radio. Windshield wipers work great, but the window fluid system was gutted at some point. I've invested alot in it over the last year- New suspension bushings, shocks, brakes, carburetor, ignitioncomponents, cooling hoses, fuel tank, pump and lines. All the lights work. See the full list in the photos.
Optionally included are a set of Utility Truck Sides, These came on the truck originally and were manufacturing in Oakland, CA in 1968. They need restoration but come complete and ready for mounting.
