1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
1965 Mustang Convertible. White with Bright Red "PONY" interior. 200 Cubic inch six-cylinder engine. Automatic transmission. Well over $25,000.00 has been invested in this car. Extensive framework completed, including the following: one-piece floor pan, trunk boards, frame rails, inner and outer wheelhouses, torque boxes, seat panel reinforcements, fender aprons, cowl panels, floor-to-firewall panels, rear quarter panels, all installed. See the extensive list on the invoice from "Mustangs Unlimited." Two brand new front fenders (reproduction from original Ford tooling) are included, but still need to be installed. Original engine (needs work/rebuild) and transmission have been removed in order to complete the extensive framework, but are included in the sale. All of the components in the engine compartment have been removed as well; any of these parts that were salvageable (such as radiator, starter, regulator) are included. Brand new reproduction "Pony" interior (two front bucket seats and rear seats) and "Pony" interior door panels, as well as brand new carpeting, are included. The original red dashpad and all of the dash components are in excellent condition. Set of 4 brand new after-market (from Superior) 13-inch wire wheels with red center spinners are included (see photo of a sample). All of the wheel components, such as lug nuts and wheel locks, are included with the wheels. Unfortunately, circumstances in my life ( a mother and aunt with Alzheimer's) have caused me to abandon this project. This the perfect opportunity for the right person to steal this car and turn it into the showpiece that it deserves to be! The successful bidder will need to pick the car up with a flatbed or some sort of vehicle capable of hauling it. Payment of a $500.00 deposit must be paid by the successful bidder through PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid by wire transfer directly into my bank (I will reimburse the buyer for the wiring fees); I will provide the wiring instructions to the successful bidder after payment of the deposit.
