1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Additional Info:
You are looking at a very presentable driver 1969 Mustang Mach 1. This car was restored about 20 years ago and stored inside ever since, it had been in dry storage for the last 15+ years. We got it out of storage and brought it to a mechanic and had everything checked over and repaired any issues he found. The body is still in nice condition and the paint shines very well. The only issue I see is the passenger door has some rust bubbles under the paint in both the lower front and rear corner. There is no rust on the underside of this car, it had floor pans put in it years ago and weren't done to today's standards but are fine for a driver. It still has the original quarter panels on the car. All the front aprons and frame rails are very nice with no rust either!
The interior is in good shape but again not show condition. I have put about 50 miles on it in the last couple weeks just checking everything out. The power disc brakes work good, all the lights seem to work, the blinkers work, I put 4 brand new tires on it (the others were flat spotted from sitting), the fuel gauge works, I didn't find anything that didn't work. The motor runs excellent, I was told it was rebuilt and has very few miles on it but I have no way of knowing for sure but from the way it runs and looks I believe it. The 4 speed tranny and shifter both work good. The clutch was a little grabby when I first drove it but the more I drive it the better it feels.
This would make a great car for the person that wants a very nice looking driver that isn't rusty. This is a true M-code Mach 1 built in California and I have a picture of the Marti report to show the options. The car was originally Maroon and had a color change to black.
There is a $500 deposit due within 24 hours and the remaining funds are due within 7 days. I would like the car picked up within 30 days but we can make other arrangments if needed.
The main reason I am selling this car is to put the money into a 67 S-code fastback I am currently restoring. Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
