1966 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

Please, only serious inquiries.
1966 F-100 Lot's of money poured in, looking for a little of it back in exchange for a really nice antique truck.
All the work below was completed in 2012 (after about 2 years of off and on work done by local mechanic). Driven less than 300 miles since restoration. Kept inside shop and started about once every two months. Needs home.

There are two videos of the truck on You Tube under the channel Working Man 1968

Truck has clean title, but was built between two different 66 trucks.
Started with Rebuild engine and transmission. Striped down original truck to frame and rebuilt. Used the frame and the cab from the parts truck due to rust in the original truck. Changed out one door and one fender. Replaced bed floor and front bed wall. Replaced tailgate. Removed gas tank and installed under bed with new fuel lines. . ..this allowed for more cab room.
Changed out ring and pinion and installed all new axle seals, pinion seal, brake shoes and wheel cylinders. Changed out used disc brakes. Installed all new brake lines. Installed all new wiring harness. Altered cross member to allow transmission removal. Installed new headers and exhaust. New cooling lines, fuel pump, brake valve. Had both front and rear bumpers re-chromed, installed new door handles inside and out. New window cranks. Installed IDIDIT tilt steering wheel (with tilt steering). Complete under dash new AC system. Installed new ignition system, battery, battery tray, door and window rubbers. Sand blasted frame and cab, painted frame flat black. Sprayed in bed liner, painted inside of cab and outside with base coat and clear coat. Stiffened hood with steel in the center where the 66 hoods were lacking support.
Two electric fans on the radiator in place of mechanical fan.
American Racing Outlaw wheels. Front tires are BFG Radial 235/70R15 and rears are BFG Radial 275/60 r15
Kenwood radio with Boston speakers in the door and Alpine amp mounted behind the seat. Sliding back glass.
Key stats:
351 Cleveland Engine with two barrel heads (4 barrel holley carb) but two barrel heads.
Keith Black Pistons, bored 30 over with 260 competition cam. Compression is 9:5
Gear ratio 352
Metric AODE Transmission.
Items that need addressed:
Door splines for windows and door (on the inside) are old and threads are damaged. The handles on the driver side need either JB welded or something similar to hold them on, or replace the splines in the door.
The passenger and driver windows will come off the track. Needs addressed.
I think it needs a bigger alternator, has trouble holding a charge. Don't drive it enough to know how long it will hold it. I charge it up about 8 hours on low before I start it and then usually drive 3-5 miles around town about once every two months. Usually have to poor gas in carb the first start after sitting, but it starts back easily if started within a week or so of driving.
Tach not working properly.
Tires probably need balanced just from sitting.
Interior was the sloppiest part of the rework, they got in a hurry to get it finished and it did not get as much detail as the rest of the truck.
I am happy to send more pictures and answer questions. A very nice and reworked old truck, just needs someone who has time to keep it up and drive it.
