You are bidding on an ALL FORD STEEL BODY, Professionally built, amazing-looking and BEAUTIFUL ’34 Ford 5-window Tudor. This is ALL FORD like it should be! All Ford steel body, suicide doors, all-Ford drivetrain with Flathead Ford V8, Ford C4 Trans and newly installed Ford 9” posi rearend! But it also has some modern amenities like power windows and air conditioning. This 2-door sedan is TURN-KEY, needs nothing but you in the seat! This awesome street rod is BEAUTIFUL and is as reliable as you’ll find unless you are having one built– which would cost $55k+. Here’s your chance to have one priced significantly lower. This car is super-clean and beautiful! The GORGEOUS Fire Engine Red paint is eye-catching with that deep wet look everyone’s after. The Hi-Performance built Ford V8 Flathead has plenty of power, with the nice rumble you expect but not overstated. Turnkey! Fly in and drive this one home!
This is a rare classic car with a low reserve to protect some of its value. Bid retractions are not accepted. Retracting your bid for an incorrect amount without entering a corrected amount is a clear attempt to reveal the Reserve as well as a violation of eBay policy. We block bidders who violate this policy and also report the violation to eBay. If the reserve is not met we will work with the high bidder to complete the sale.
The Body is all STEEL including the original running boards. The fabric roof has been filled in with a metal section for a cleaner look. The body is really nice and super straight, rustfree and super solid. The roof inlay was done professionally and looks great! The BMW Red paint is in great condition and is a show-quality paint job with no runs, sags, or peeling paint. The paint is at least 10+ years old and has held up great over the years. Only a few chips on the front lower sections from being driven and enjoyed. A brand-new NOS grille was just installed. Other items are…original headlights, 3rd brake light, cowl light turn signals, and custom chrome trunk luggage rack that holds the custom 50-year-old wooden trunk.
The Interior is custom leather 2-tone and in great condition too! Leather seats are nice and comfy with very little wear. The seats are mounted low and go back quite a bit for a tall person like my 6’6” frame. The interior is tastefully done with modern classic instrument gauges, power tinted windows, tilt steering, crank-out windshield, overhead stereo, Secarra steering wheel, custom wood inlays for dash and console and that all-important Vintage Air Conditioning system.
The drivetrain is all-Ford! The motor is a rebuilt 1949 Mercury Gate Model Flat Head V8 with Offenhauser Heads, Offenhauser intake manifold, Holley 4-barrel, Chevy 409 Water Pump (used to drive the AC pump) and corn husker motor mounts. The power is then supplied to the rebuilt C4 automatic transmission and out to the newly installed (6/21/16) Ford 9” posi rearend. An aluminum radiator was installed for improved cooling for city traffic.
The undercarriage is in great condition too. The custom frame is in great condition with custom ladder frame & tubular rails for drivetrain and the stainless coilover suspension system (front & rear). Front steering is a custom Rack & Pinion Stainless Steel Steering system with front disc brakes. Other items include… Battery Shut-Off On Frame Right Side Under Running Board, Stainless Steel Gas Tank, New Exhaust, American Racing Wheels with good radial tires.
Other info: This is an older build and some items show its age. It wouldn’t take much to update some of them and bring it back up to show quality. The car has approximately 17,000 miles on it since the restoration. The body and chassis are in excellent condition!! However, since no car that is actually driven is absolutely perfect - there are a few minor flaws, micro-stone impacts on front, a few chips on fenders and some imperfections from driving, nothing major. They are minor enough to leave alone – but could be touched up if you are looking for absolute perfection. The two areas are pictured.
Since it’s been road driven… exterior and chassis detailing would be needed for show competition.
Clear Ohio title stating 1934 Ford with NON-ACTUAL 14,672 miles.
Wiper did work but does not work currently.
Rear shocks may need to be adjusted or replaced as they are not dampening correctly.
The Vintage Air V8 system all works except for the diverter inside the box or the air blend control. The system is charged and the compressor does engage when it calls for air conditioning but it is still blowing hot air. All of the speeds of the fan work. The heat and defrost diverters work so I would guess that its just the diverter valve or the blend controller is not blocking off the hot air/opening for cold air.
The rear luggage rack and trunk are removable. They bolt to the existing spare tire mounting frame which is included.
I realize that it is difficult to purchase a vehicle you may not be able to inspect in person. I build vehicles too – so I try to show you everything I would want to see if I was buying a vehicle for myself. As you can see by my feedback (100% positive), I describe my vehicles accurately. I have sold other vehicles on eBay to happy buyers worldwide so you can be confident when making a purchase.
This description includes a video (the first picture should have a “Play” arrow on it). The video may not play on all mobile phones. Please view it on your computer if it doesn’t play on your cell phone.
I have made my best effort to accurately represent the car based on my expertise as a vehicle builder, what I have observed in evaluating it and preparing it for sale, and what I have been told by the owner, but this is the extent of my knowledge. Please ask questions before bidding! This is being solid AS IS with no warranty or guarantees and is up to the buyer to verify any and all info listed above in the description! This vehicle is also for sale locally. You are welcome to arrange a viewing of this vehicle. Again, this is a classic vehicle that has been driven and enjoyed. It’s not perfect or a museum piece so there may be minor imperfections in the body, brite work and glass. Anything to note is listed above.
Terms: Contact must be made by the buyer within 48 hours and a non-refundable $500 Paypal deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction close, balance due within 7 days of auction close as cash or bank wire only. I can store this vehicle for $125 a month (in advance) if you need time to make affordable shipping arrangements. Paid storage is in a dry, heated, secure indoor location. I do not finance. No trade or barter.
I am not responsible for any fees or taxes associated with registration, license plates or any out-of-pocket costs. Nor am I responsible for emissions compliance. Buyer is responsible for all state, county, city taxes & fees as well as title, registration, license plates and emissions compliance in the State/County that the vehicle will be registered. No warranty, sold as is.
Shipping is the Buyer’s responsibility. I will not ship but will work with your shipping company. A list of contact information for some of the shipping companies previous Buyers have used can be provided upon request for your quotation and shipping needs. Pick-up arrangements (by the Buyer or the shipping company) must be coordinated in advance to insure my availability since I am often in and out on business. Local delivery may be possible within 200 miles of zip code 44056 for an extra charge. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and related arrangements and payments. Vehicle must be paid in full before it leaves my premises.
Insurance: I highly recommend that the buyer put insurance on the vehicle upon purchase as I am not responsible for any damage incurred after leaving my premises.
Good luck and happy bidding!
