1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Additional Info:

You are bidding on a beautiful Thunderbird Convertible. I have owned this car for about four years, but I need to free up a bay in my garage. Since purchasing the car from a fellow Thunderbird enthusiast, I have had the car professionally stripped down to bare metal and repainted in the same color Red it had when I purchased it. The previous owner had spent a lot of money pulling the motor and converting the factory exterior color from White to Red. They did a really good job of hitting all the hidden places. They also changed the interior color from Camel/Black to Red/White/black. So I re-sprayed the same color. The car is completely rust free everywhere. I also purchased a set of Coker wire wheels and tires. I still have the original steel rims with tires mounted and hubcaps that go with the car. I just had a new power steering pump installed. The car is very straight and a beautiful driver. Mechanically, the car is in good working order. Motor is strong. All of the parts for the factory A/C are there, but the belt was off, so I can't say if it works or not. I prefer to put the top down. Speaking of the top, it does go up and down, but has a weak breaker. It could be that there is air in the line, but it will stop once, but after waiting a couple of minutes, the breaker clicks back and the cycle continues. I'm sure it would be an easy repair. I encourage you make an appointment to come and inspect the car or have it inspected by a professional service. You won't be disappointed. I have a lift and we can get under it for further inspection. I am a Thunderbird enthusiast and this is my third Thunderbird. In other words, I know the value of the car and I have set the reserve at a very fair price. If you're wanting to buy wholesale to flip, this is not the car for you.
