Turbo Coupe 5 Speed manual trans

1986 Ford Thunderbird TURBO Coupe Additional Info:

For bid is a 1986 T'bird Turbo Coupe which could make a great project car for dad or son alike.Almost everything is still in place except the head was removed to assess the damage caused by the backfire. Lower half of engine, turbo,trans, drive train, and differentialare all still hooked up. Of course the motor will need to be removed to either weld the bad spot or install the other engine that comes with the car. All seats except the drivers are in good condition, they could use a re-dye. All glass is in fine condition save for a small chink in the windshield, as shown in one of the photos. There is a dent in the upper portion of the right rear finder as seen on the photo.Car comes with many extra parts, (see photos), and 6Factory Mags with 4 original wheel covers. In the pics will be seen a scoop on the hood, this model did not have an intercooler, I put one onand installed the scoop to feed it air until I could find a hood from a 87/88 TC that has scoops. But this setup allowed the use of the larger turbo with the intercooler. It would out do the87/88 TCs and every smug faced 5.0 Mustang driver that came around.I would love to seethis Mean Bird fly again, but I am moving toEurope and all my goodies must go. LET ME REPEAT, this car is not runningand cannot be made to run without extensive work and not in my driveway. The tires will hold air for awhile, so it may be towed, dollied, or trucked, but once it leaves my yard I take no responsibility. Randy Akers
