1960 Ford F-100 SWB Additional Info:
Up for sale A 1960 Ford F100 Short Wheel base 4x4. This is an awesome looking truck with tons of potential. The gentleman Iacquired this vehicle from claims that this is a FE 428 engine, however I was unable to determine this after looking on passenger side of block for casting number and there is nothing? I did get a number on passenger head D2TEAA. The truck is not running, but was said to run, a problem with wiring of some sort, starter, solenoid, ignition switch? However I am not able to verify that statement, so selling as non-running. The truck was built for pulling/hauling. based on its appearance, Id say a considerable amount of time and money was put into its mechanics, There's a B and M Shifter, Holley Carburetor, Holley tall finned valve covers, Edelbrock performer intake, Power Brakes, headers, with Custom dual exhaust out the sides, MSD ignition and wires, A Custom Winch Bumper, Chrome grille, and custom wheels, giving it a very Beefy Stalky look. This truck will need restore as there are some issues described herein: The windshieldis cracked, the floors are solid with the exception of one small half dollar rust hole in driver side. The trucks cab corners will need some attention as there is rust at corners. There are areas on truck where body filer has failed and chipped/cracked. There is some rust on the doors. Windows roll up and down fine. the doors shut solidly as they should. The truck bed inside is very solid. the rear bumper is bent at drivers corner. The tailgate has rust at bottom and will require restore. The truck has a matching set of five aluminum custom wheels with 35 inch tires. Don't miss your opportunity to take this to the next level. All the parts and mods have been done, its time for the right person toRestore its life. This is a Bad Truck in its own right. if your interested in this truck, then I assume you know the investment potential in these particular models. These fully restored, arebringing upwards of35-40k. Bid with confidence as my feedback will reflect. I've tried to list this truck to the best of my ability.Trucks of this kind are becoming more and more scarce, and going into collectors hands. This truck can allow you to take it anyway you'd like, For Show,Play, and/or Work, This truck is sure to be a head turner and game changer.
